Medical Disclaimer

Important: Not a Substitute for Medical Advice

Content on this website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with questions about your medical condition.

Valencia Medical Weight Control connects patients with independent licensed healthcare providers for telehealth consultations. A GLP-1 prescription is not guaranteed — it is issued only when a clinician determines it is medically appropriate based on your individual health profile.

Results vary by individual. Clinical outcomes such as weight loss percentages, HbA1c reductions, or other metrics described on our website are based on published clinical data and patient-reported outcomes, and are not a guarantee of individual results.

  • GLP-1 medications carry potential side effects including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and others discussed during your clinical evaluation.
  • Medications are prescribed at the sole clinical discretion of your licensed provider.
  • We do not guarantee availability of any specific medication, dosage, or treatment option.
3

Eligibility Requirements

To use Valencia Medical Weight Control's services, you must:

  1. Be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Be a resident of a U.S. state where our telehealth services are available.
  3. Provide accurate, complete, and current information about your health history during intake and evaluation.
  4. Not have a contraindicated condition for GLP-1 therapy (as determined by your clinician).
  5. Have a valid government-issued ID for identity verification.

We reserve the right to deny services to individuals who do not meet eligibility requirements or who provide false or misleading information during the enrollment process.

4

Program Enrollment & Services

Enrollment in the Valencia Medical Weight Control program includes:

  • An initial telehealth evaluation with a licensed clinician to assess GLP-1 eligibility.
  • A personalized treatment plan if the clinician determines GLP-1 therapy is medically appropriate.
  • Guidance on filling your prescription at a licensed pharmacy or through pharmacy delivery services.
  • Ongoing monitoring and follow-up consultations as clinically indicated.

Enrollment does not guarantee issuance of a prescription. The decision to prescribe any medication rests solely with the licensed healthcare provider based on clinical judgment and FDA-outlined criteria.

ℹ️

After your prescription is issued, we can help coordinate home delivery through a licensed pharmacy, or you may fill it at any licensed pharmacy of your choice.

5

Payments, Fees & Refunds

Program enrollment requires a fee of $75, which covers your initial clinician consultation and evaluation. This fee is non-refundable once a clinician consultation has been conducted.

  • Medication Costs: Prescription medication costs are separate from the program enrollment fee and vary based on your insurance coverage, chosen medication, pharmacy, and dosage. We do not set or control medication pricing.
  • Insurance: We accept certain insurance plans. Coverage for GLP-1 medications varies by plan, diagnosis, and carrier. Our team can assist you in reviewing your benefits.
  • Refund Policy: The $75 enrollment fee is refundable only if a consultation has not yet been scheduled. Once a consultation is conducted — regardless of prescription outcome — the fee is non-refundable.
  • Subscription Plans: If you enroll in an ongoing monitoring program, subscription fees are billed on the schedule disclosed at enrollment. You may cancel at any time with 7 days' notice prior to the next billing cycle.
⚠️

All payment information is processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. Valencia Medical Weight Control does not store complete payment card information on our servers.

6

Telehealth Services

Our services are delivered via telehealth in compliance with applicable state and federal laws. By using our telehealth platform, you acknowledge:

  • Telehealth has limitations compared to in-person care and may not be appropriate for all conditions.
  • You have the right to refuse telehealth services at any time and seek in-person care.
  • The security of telehealth sessions may be affected by factors outside our control, including your internet connection or device security.
  • Telehealth consultations are conducted by independently licensed healthcare providers who exercise independent clinical judgment.
  • You must be physically located in a state where the treating provider is licensed at the time of the consultation.

Valencia Medical Weight Control is a facilitator connecting patients with licensed providers. We do not practice medicine and are not responsible for clinical decisions made by the independent licensed healthcare providers on our platform.
